Answer

Analysis and research related to the impacts of the UK Government’s Immigration policy on the Northern Ireland labour market is available on My Department’s website.

My Department also commissioned an independent report from Oxford Economics which examined ‘The Impact of Changes to the UK Immigration Policy on the Northern Ireland Economy’. The report highlighted that the main economic impact is that employers will be unable to replace EU migrant workers who leave Northern Ireland to work elsewhere.
