Answer
The Belfast Health & Social Care Trust (BHSCT) currently provides infant formula milk to mothers living with HIV for their baby in the first six months of life. This service is available to mothers living across NI, centrally facilitated through the BHSCT Genito Urinary Medicine (GUM) service.
The service provides formula of the mother’s choice and is arranged through the antenatal coordinator who arranges delivery of the formula to the mothers.
