To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, in order to deter from the use of the waste treatment option and promote the use of alternative technologies, whether he will consider introducing a levy on incineration.

AQW 10115/17-22, AQO 866/17-22 and AQW 7744/17-22 refer.
There are currently no powers devolved to Northern Ireland that might be used to introduce a levy on incineration. Taxation, including the introduction of levies, is a matter for the UK Parliament.
