I am currently developing a Peatland Strategy for Northern Ireland which will provide a framework for conserving our intact semi-natural peatlands and restoring degraded semi-natural peatlands.
The Northern Ireland Peatland Strategy is being taken forward under the auspices of the UK Peatland Strategy and I intend to publish the strategy for consultation soon.
