Answer

My Department does not hold the information in relation to the number of households in Northern Ireland that do not currently have glass collected for recycling.

The Department’s Local authority Collected Municipal Waste statistics give only the tonnages of glass collected for recycling by local authorities. The most recent statistics, published on 29th July 2021, for Quarter 4 (Q4), 1st January – 31st March 2021 can be found:

All eleven councils submitted returns for kerbside glass collection in Q4.
