Answer
My Department has established a number of local community resilience groups in the Antrim area and earlier this year, completed the construction of the Hollywell Burn Flood Alleviation Scheme.
A flood study for Antrim is included in my Department’s long term prioritised works programme. Progression of this study is dependent on the progress of other higher ranked priorities / studies and the availability of resources.
While my Department currently has no planned road drainage works intended for Antrim Town it will continue to carry out scheduled yearly gully cleansing in and around Antrim Town Centre, in line with current policy.
