Answer
Officials in my department in conjunction with DAERA Forest Service, recently reviewed the afforestation scheme between the B95 Greystone Road and Rathmore Depot in Antrim. Following a survey, dead saplings totalling approximately 20% of the original volume were replaced with new saplings. At this location this is considered an appropriate volume considering the poor soil conditions. This site along with others will continue to be monitored until the trees have fully established.
