Answer
Since I corresponded with you in April 2024 via AQW 9111/22-27, I can update as follows.
Forest Service has continued to take forward necessary statutory and procurement considerations in conjunction with DfI’s Rivers Agency and Construction & Procurement Delivery of the Department of Finance.
A number of options have been developed for the footbridge and a topographical survey has recently been completed to inform decisions on the most sustainable solution. Officials from the relevant parties are now working together to draw up the agreed specification, for consideration by the planning authorities, which subject to achieving consent can then proceed to tender.
