To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the installation of a cycle lane on the Templepatrick Road, Ballyclare, between the junctions of Jubilee Road and Mill Road.

The proposed active travel improvement on the Templepatrick Road, Ballyclare, between the junctions of Jubilee Road and Mill Road aims to enhance safety and connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists along this busy corridor.

Design of the scheme is well advanced and discussions with affected landowners are ongoing There are also considerations relating to nearby residential developments that must be fully addressed before the scheme can progress. It is hoped that construction could commence in the 2026/27 financial year, subject to the successful resolution of the above issues and budget availability.
