Answer
My Department does not maintain records by constituency. However, within the Antrim and Newtownabbey area, as at 15 September 2021 there are 1,025 recorded carriageway, hard shoulder and layby surface defects (which includes potholes, cracking, depressions etc.) that have not been marked off in the Department’s maintenance management system as completed.
It is important to note that there is a time lag between a repair being carried out and the associated records being updated on the maintenance management system. As a result the figure quoted above may not reflect the actual position on the ground.
